What Is Marketing?
Marketing is the process of creating a product, service or brand that attracts customers. It can include market research, advertising and promotion to build brand awareness and increase sales.
Online Marketing: This involves the use of digital tools to promote a company’s products or services online. It can be done through social media or email campaigns, and it can include pay-per-click advertising, remarketing and search engine optimization techniques.
Internet Marketing: This includes the use of online websites to promote a company’s products or other services. It can be done through the creation of content and sharing it on social media platforms or by using Google AdSense to create image-based ads that are displayed on web pages.
Paid Advertising: This involves paying a fee to have an advertisement displayed on popular websites. This can be done through Google AdWords, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
Display Ads: This is similar to PPC in that you create image-based ads and pay for each click. This type of ad can be found on the sides or tops of web pages.
Youtube Marketing: This includes creating and promoting videos on YouTube. It can also involve asking other companies to collaborate on video projects.
The principal function of marketing is to facilitate the exchange of goods between parties in a free market economy or society, allowing each party to obtain what it needs and wants from the other. This does not mean that marketing is confined to a profit-oriented business, as many public institutions engage in marketing activities, such as hospitals, schools, and museums.
