Different Types of Digital Marketing

One way to reach consumers is through paid digital advertising. This is where companies bid on ad space, and pay a publisher for each ad that is seen. These ads can be anything from a text ad to a mobile app ad to an ad on a social media site.

Another form of digital marketing is content marketing. This type of marketing incorporates SEO search terms into fresh website content. This content can be in the form of blog posts, videos, podcasts, or resources. As a result, it provides valuable information to consumers and boosts brand awareness. It also gives marketers a new touchpoint with their past customers.

Retargeting is one of the most cost effective forms of digital marketing. The idea behind retargeting is to show people ads that are relevant to their needs. This can be done through Facebook, Google, and other third party tools. If a person is browsing through Facebook and then sees an ad for a product that they might be interested in, they can click on the ad. By displaying a targeted ad, you’re moving the person down the buying funnel.

In addition, you can track how your audience reacts to your offer. This can be done by tracking analytics and testing your ads with a hyper-targeted audience. This can help you optimize your ads for maximum effectiveness. However, bidding for spaces can become expensive when the competition is high. That’s why it’s important to start small.
