Is competition good for society?

Learning to deal with failure aka losing is essential .. competion is good – it’s human – it’s reality –
I think we should consider how important it is to fester the competitive spirit and not stop people who are upset when they lose .. irs not “just a game” for some and that’s ok .. like other things are ok .. competitive DNA is a gift not soemrhing that should be tempered

Digital Marketing Tactics

Traditionally, corporations tasked their marketing departments with the task of promoting their products through print, radio and television ads. As technology changed and media consumption shifted, companies began incorporating digital marketing strategies into their overall marketing plan. This includes websites, mobile applications, social media, and search engines.

In order to effectively execute a digital marketing plan, it is important to understand the ins and outs of a number of digital marketing channels. In fact, many companies combine traditional and digital marketing methods to maximize their reach and boost sales.

The term digital marketing owes its genesis to the advent of the Internet. With the proliferation of Internet sites, companies had access to vast troves of data they had not before. In short, it is now possible to measure the customer journey through a company’s brand and products. In order to do this, a company may employ the use of data analytics. Moreover, with a good digital marketing strategy in place, organizations can establish their brand identity and establish a connection with their customers.

Aside from implementing digital marketing tactics, it is important for companies to understand how their consumers use digital channels in order to maximize their marketing ROI. In particular, a company should pay attention to how customers use social media. They should also consider how consumers interact with mobile apps and websites. This is a particularly important factor for companies operating in the e-commerce space.

Other digital marketing tactics include promoting content through search engine optimization (SEO) and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising. In particular, SEO can be accomplished both editorially and via paid advertisements.
